Amélie begins previews on Broadway in a few weeks, on March 9, at the Walter Kerr Theater. Opening night is April 3rd. The cast, including Phillipa Soo as Amélie and Adam Chanler-Berat as Nino, has begun doing promo in anticipation of the premiere. On February 10th they presented a concert preview at the Cutting Room in NYC. Members of the cast performed songs from the show and talked to the press. We’ve collected a few videos to share with you.
I liked Samantha Barks a lot in the original Berkeley Repertory production of Amèlie, but Phillipa Soo sounds incredible! The entire LA cast is moving to Broadway.
The Hollywood Reporter has previews of Times are Hard for Dreamers, a solo by Amélie, and Stay, a duet by Amélie and Nino, that are each over a minute long.
