A Discovery of Witches Season 3: Video Recap of Seasons 1 & 2 Plus Watch Season 1 Episode 1 for Free

Season 3 of A Discovery of Witches, based on Deborah Harkness’ supernatural All Souls Trilogy, premieres in the UK on January 7, 2022 (on Sky Max and NOW) and in the US on January 8, 2022 (on streamers AMC+, Shudder and Sundance Now). The third season, based on the third book in the trilogy, The Book of Life, consists of 7 episodes.

AMC tweeted a whirlwind video recap of the first two seasons which you can watch below. It manages to hit the high points of the series in just 5 minutes. Or you can stick with Steven Cree’s (Gallowglass) especially succinct version. He hits some of my high points. 😇 ❤️ 😉

So far, I haven’t found a Youtube version of this or any other S1/2 recap, but I’ll keep an eye out. AMC has put the full pilot episode of A Discovery of Witches up on Youtube to watch for free. It’s embedded below the recap tweet.

In the final series of A Discovery of Witches, Matthew (Matthew Goode) and Diana (Teresa Palmer) return from their trip to 1590 to find tragedy at Sept-Tours. They must find the missing pages from the Book of Life and the Book itself before it’s too late. Their enemies are gearing up against them, and a monster from Matthew’s past who has been lying in wait will return for revenge.

The series features a strong ensemble cast including Matthew Goode, Teresa Palmer, Owen Teale, Malin Buska, Alex Kingston, Aiysha Hart, Edward Bluemel, Lindsay Duncan, Peter McDonald, Trevor Eve, Gregg Chillin, Adelle Leonce, Tanya Moodie, Daniel Ezra, Toby Regbo, Steven Cree, Jacob Ifan, Ivanno Jeremiah, Greg McHugh, Olivier Huband, Paul Rhys and Parker Sawyers. A Discovery of Witches Season 3 is based on the ‘The Book of Life’ novel from Deborah Harkness’s bestselling All Souls trilogy and is the third and final instalment.

A Discovery of Witches is a Sky Original series and was commissioned by Zai Bennett, Managing Director of Content, Sky UK. Kara Manley is the executive producer for Sky Studios and the show is made by Bad Wolf.
